Laguna Golf Phuket sits inside the Laguna Phuket resort complex on Bang Tao Beach — Asia's first fully integrated resort destination — and has been part of the island's golf landscape since the early 1990s. A comprehensive 2014 redesign reshaped the layout into a more strategic, shot-option-driven course, and the results followed: Laguna Golf Phuket was named Thailand's Best Golf Course in 2015, 2016, and 2019, with a runner-up finish in 2018.
The course carries that recent pedigree further with tournament credentials of its own — it hosted the Laguna Phuket Championship, an Asian Tour event, in December 2021, won by Thai golfer Phachara Khongwatmai. Unlike Phuket's hill courses, Laguna plays across gently undulating, resort-flat terrain, with lagoons and mature trees framing both nines rather than dramatic elevation change. The signature closing stretch — a monster 612-yard par-5 17th requiring two water carries, followed by a birdie-friendly par-4 18th — gives the round a memorable finish without punishing the rest of the layout with excessive difficulty.
Its position inside the Laguna resort complex also makes it one of the most convenient courses on the island for groups staying at any of the resort's beachfront hotels.

Tell us your preferred tee time, handicap range and any rental requirements. For a larger group, we can discuss consecutive tee times rather than assuming everyone can play in one flight.
Getting there
Your hotel location matters as much as the destination name. Share the exact pickup point so we can allow for city traffic and the time needed to warm up before your round.
