Plan a landing area, not just a distance. Where water influences the line of play, a shorter club and a clear target can be more useful than chasing every extra yard. Keep a comfortable carry in mind when choosing tees, and discuss the safest approach with your caddie before committing to the shot.
The Lakes Course opened in 1999 as Blue Canyon Country Club's second 18 holes, designed — like the Canyon Course before it — by Japanese architect Yoshikazu Kato. Rather than repeating the Canyon Course's tournament-grade demands, the Lakes Course was built as its complement: a water-focused layout across the same 720-acre former tin-mining estate, but routed to be playable across a much wider range of abilities.
Water is the defining feature — 17 of the 18 holes bring a lake, creek, or canyon-cut water hazard into play, drawing on the site's original tin-mining pits and natural land contours. The front nine winds through lakes and canyons close to their original mined state; the back nine shifts into stands of mature rubber trees for a change of scenery and rhythm. Five tee options make the Lakes Course notably more adaptable than most Phuket championship-caliber courses, accommodating everyone from touring professionals to first-time visitors within the same round.
Located at the northern end of Phuket near the airport, the Lakes Course shares its clubhouse, spa, and villa facilities with the neighboring Canyon Course, making a two-round Blue Canyon day straightforward to arrange.

Before you play
Caddie required. A tip is separate unless your confirmed quotation explicitly includes it.
Tell us your preferred tee time, handicap range and any rental requirements. For a larger group, we can discuss consecutive tee times rather than assuming everyone can play in one flight.
Getting there
Your hotel location matters as much as the destination name. Share the exact pickup point so we can allow for city traffic and the time needed to warm up before your round.
