A course with several nines offers different combinations, so ask which routing is included in your quotation. The published yardage can refer to a particular pair of nines or tee selection. Confirm the planned 18 holes when booking, especially if you are returning and want to experience another combination.
Lake View Resort & Golf Club opened in 1993 as an 18-hole Roger Packard design, and in 2006 added a further nine holes — becoming, by most accounts, the first 36-hole golf facility in the Hua Hin-Cha-Am region. That expansion gives the course a flexibility few others in the area can match: four distinct nine-hole loops (with mature trees, blind shots, undulating fairways and doglegs on the original layout, and a more open, links-style feel on the newer nine) that combine into different 18-hole routings measuring 6,915 and 7,015 yards.
Set along the Cha-Am-Hua Hin bypass road in Phetchaburi province, about 35 minutes from central Hua Hin, the course has built a genuine competitive reputation, having hosted Asian Tour Qualifying School. Its signature hole — the par-3 14th, played from an island tee box to an island green over 210 yards of water — is the kind of hole golfers remember long after the round.
For groups planning a multi-day golf trip, the sheer variety on offer here is the draw: you could play three different 18-hole combinations across three days without repeating a single hole.
