Choose a tee length that suits your usual game, rather than automatically playing the back markers. Protect the approach angle, leave room for a conservative lay-up and ask your caddie where a missed shot is easiest to recover. For mixed handicaps, different tees can make the same round more enjoyable for everyone.

Rolling Hills is the newest of Siam Country Club's four Pattaya-area courses, opened in 2020 as the Siam Motors Group continued expanding the property first established by the Old Course in 1971. Designed by Brian Curley of Schmidt-Curley Design — the same firm behind the Old Course's 2007 renovation and the Plantation Course — Rolling Hills takes a more contemporary design approach than its sister courses, built by moving earth under the course itself to create elevation and natural-feeling spectator viewing areas, rather than around it.

The layout plays in two distinct halves. The front nine is comparatively open and flat, with generous fairways and little in the way of trees, giving newer or less confident golfers a comfortable start. The back nine is where the course earns its name: dramatic elevation changes climb toward the property's highest point, with holes 15 through 17 singled out by regulars as the standout stretch. The par-5 15th is the most talked-about hole on the course — its green is guarded by a series of steep bunkers players have nicknamed the "wall of death."

Golfers looking to play all four Siam Country Club courses on one trip will find Rolling Hills shares its clubhouse with the neighboring Waterside Course, making logistics simple for a multi-round Siam-focused itinerary.
