Choose a tee length that suits your usual game, rather than automatically playing the back markers. Protect the approach angle, leave room for a conservative lay-up and ask your caddie where a missed shot is easiest to recover. For mixed handicaps, different tees can make the same round more enjoyable for everyone.
Chee Chan Golf Resort is one of the newest additions to Pattaya's golf scene, opened in 2018 and designed by David Dale of Golfplan – Dale & Ramsey Golf Course Architects. It sits in the Silverlake area beneath Khao Chee Chan, the mountain famous for the giant golden Buddha image carved into its rock face, and the course was built to make the most of that backdrop — holes open onto sweeping views of the mountain, temples, lakes, and, on clear days, the Gulf of Thailand beyond.
What sets Chee Chan apart from most Pattaya courses is its terrain and grass selection. Rather than the tight, tree-lined parkland typical of the area, Chee Chan's gently rolling hills and open sightlines create what regulars describe as a "Scottish Highlands" feel — a rarer style of golf in this part of Thailand. Zoysia grass fairways and Tifeagle Bermuda greens further set it apart from its neighbors.
The course plays to a par-72 layout of 6,928 yards, stretching to 7,345 yards from the championship tees, with well-protected, multi-tiered greens that reward accurate approach play. A modern clubhouse and full practice facilities, including a USGA-affiliated driving range and academy, round out a course built to international standard from day one.

Caddie required. A tip is separate unless your confirmed quotation explicitly includes it.
Tell us your preferred tee time, handicap range and any rental requirements. For a larger group, we can discuss consecutive tee times rather than assuming everyone can play in one flight.
Getting there
Your hotel location matters as much as the destination name. Share the exact pickup point so we can allow for city traffic and the time needed to warm up before your round.
