The playing experience
Choose a tee length that suits your usual game, rather than automatically playing the back markers. Protect the approach angle, leave room for a conservative lay-up and ask your caddie where a missed shot is easiest to recover. For mixed handicaps, different tees can make the same round more enjoyable for everyone.
Siam Country Club's Old Course holds a title no other course in Thailand can claim: it was the country's first privately owned golf club, opened in 1971 under the late Dr. Thaworn Phornprapha and the Siam Motors Group. Japanese architect Isao Izumi laid out the original routing through the low hills a few kilometers inland from Pattaya, working with the mature trees and natural creeks already on the site rather than against them.
That routing survived largely intact through a complete 2006–2007 renovation by Lee Schmidt of Schmidt-Curley Design, the American firm brought in to bring the course up to modern championship standard. Schmidt kept Izumi's bones — the out-and-back parkland layout, the lakes, the tree-lined corridors — while rebuilding the greens in Novotek grass and resurfacing fairways in Seashore Paspalum. The result reopened in March 2007 and has hosted the Honda LPGA Thailand almost every year since.
The clubhouse still occupies its original 1970s structure, refreshed most recently in a 2023 renovation, and looks out over the valley and the course's famous closing stretch. A large golden Buddha watches over the grounds from a hillside visible clearest at the course's uphill 9th — a detail regular players come to look for on every visit.

Caddie required. A tip is separate unless your confirmed quotation explicitly includes it.
Tell us your preferred tee time, handicap range and any rental requirements. For a larger group, we can discuss consecutive tee times rather than assuming everyone can play in one flight.
Getting there
Your hotel location matters as much as the destination name. Share the exact pickup point so we can allow for city traffic and the time needed to warm up before your round.
