The playing experience
Make room in the day for the drive and a proper warm-up. Changes in elevation can alter how far a shot actually plays, so use the caddie's local knowledge alongside your own distance judgement. For a multi-course holiday, this setting adds a different visual and playing rhythm to flatter layouts.
Chiangmai Highlands Golf & Spa Resort opened in December 2005, designed by Schmidt-Curley Design — the same American firm behind some of Asia’s most decorated modern layouts. Built on elevated “power spot” foothills in Mae On District, the course uses genuine mountain and valley terrain to create a layout that feels closer to a highland retreat than a typical Thailand golf resort.
The course is arranged as three nine-hole loops — Valley, Highlands, and Mountain — each combining into a different par-72, 18-hole round. More than 130 bunkers, Paspalum fairways, and TifEagle greens run throughout, and water hazards come into play on a number of holes. What sets Chiangmai Highlands apart is the view: every hole offers a look at the surrounding mountains, a rare consistency even among Thailand’s scenic courses.
That combination of design and setting has earned real recognition — Top 3 New Course in Asia (2005/2007), Top 3 Course in Thailand and Top 10 Resort Course in Asia (2009), Best Value for Money Golf Course in Asia (2012–13), and a Best Golf Resort in Asia nomination at the 2015 Asian Golf Awards. It currently ranks 13th in Thailand and 2nd in Northern Thailand on Top100GolfCourses.

Before you play
Caddie required. A tip is separate unless your confirmed quotation explicitly includes it.
Tell us your preferred tee time, handicap range and any rental requirements. For a larger group, we can discuss consecutive tee times rather than assuming everyone can play in one flight.
Getting there
Your hotel location matters as much as the destination name. Share the exact pickup point so we can allow for city traffic and the time needed to warm up before your round.
